Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Manyagi platform, including manyagi.com and any related apps or services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

1. Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18 you must have your parent or guardian's consent. You are responsible for your account credentials and all activity under your account.

2. Credits & Subscriptions

Generating and editing books consumes credits. Credits can be purchased in packs or included with an Author Pass subscription. Credits are non-transferable, have no cash value, and expire twelve (12) months after purchase if unused. Subscription plans renew automatically until canceled; cancel any time from your account settings.

3. Refunds

Because credits are consumed by immediate AI computation, credit and subscription purchases are non-refundable except where required by law. If a generation fails due to our error, we will refund the debited credits.

4. Your Content

You retain ownership of prompts you submit and creations you generate ("Your Content"). You grant Manyagi a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, display, and process Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service. Public sharing (e.g. publishing to your public library page) grants readers a right to view your work.

5. AI Output

AI models generate probabilistic output. We do not guarantee originality, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before publishing or distributing them.

6. Acceptable Use

You will not use the Service to generate content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, hateful, sexually explicit involving minors, or that violates the rights of others. You will not attempt to reverse-engineer, resell, or overload the Service.

7. Merchandise

Physical products (apparel, prints) are fulfilled by third-party providers such as Printful. Shipping times and product quality are subject to those providers' terms.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may close your account at any time; unused credits are forfeited on closure.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Manyagi disclaims all implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Manyagi's total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of USD $100 or the amount you paid to Manyagi in the twelve months preceding the claim.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced by email or in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

13. Proprietary Systems & Trade Secrets

The Manyagi publishing engine is proprietary. Without limiting Section 6 (Acceptable Use), you agree not to (a) reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the Manyagi Score rubric, benchmarks, weights, prompts, gates, exemplar craft-DNA library, drift sentinel, name-dedupe, or world-graph logic; (b) use the Service, its outputs, or telemetry to train, fine-tune, evaluate, or build a competing generative-writing, story-bible, or publishing system; (c) scrape, bulk-export, or systematically harvest bibles, chapters, graphs, or grader results beyond your own account; or (d) disclose any non-public internals surfaced through admin, developer, or API surfaces. These restrictions survive termination. Manyagi retains all right, title, and interest in the engine, models, rubrics, benchmarks, prompts, and pipeline infrastructure.
